Herons In Flight

We’ve had continuous visits from three species of herons this summer on Cambridge Creek.Β  Here are a few more of my favorite flight shots of them.

  1. All nice shots but really liked β€œPeek-a-boo” and β€œManeuvering the Sail Masts”. One of the reasons I liked the latter so much is because the wings were down. Wings open may be more dramatic for most people, but I like side shots with the wings down because to me it says “flying”; the others say “soaring”.
