Eagle Fly-By Sequence

.

To watch a Bald Eagle soaring at a distance and then turn to head your way is super exciting!

When it continues to make its way up and over you, it just blows you away.

Here’s an Eagle that did just that to me.

Feel the fly-by!

  1. Word is obviously getting around the bird community, that Donna is around with her camera and they all want to be made famous! 😊 Great shots Donna! That’s truly a magnificent bird, shown off at its best!

    • Thank you very much, Eliza! What a thrill, I love when this happens. πŸ’ƒ Oops I should have said from my front yard where I’ve got the big sky view from our lot. I keep thinking of it as my second backyard lol.

  2. Stunning pictures, Donna! What an absolute thrill that must have been! I love the way its head is slightly cocked in the last picture, probably keeping an eye on you.

    • Thank you, Simon! I get so darn excited when I see a bird coming at me like this, I’m pretty sure I hold my breath while I’m shooting, lol. Your turn is coming soon! πŸ™‚

  3. I DO admire your ability to catch such clear shots of these beautiful birds. I often get nothing but a dose of frustration as my camera takes its sweet ever lovin’ time trying to FOCUS!!! 😳πŸ₯΄

  4. We have these beautiful birds in my home town to. When ever I see one it stops me in my tracks because my grandpa used to love them so I like to think it’s him watching over me
