I’ve always felt the European Robin was so much prettier, ours can have a real ‘attitude’ look, lol. Our Robin is symbolic that when we begin to see them again in our yards, Spring is coming. 🙂 Thank you, Sandy!
Our robbin can be cheeky and not want any others in its yard. It has been happy with Roy’s work getting the weeds up.

Birds are efficient berry pickers. 🙂 We have to net our blueberry bushes or the Catbirds especially will strip them clean. Nice shots, Donna!

Lit hit that starling just right – all those colors really popping. Robins all over the place now, so Springs a coming.
Getting the Starling and Grackle iridescence aren’t always easy, so it’s great when you get the lighting just right. Yes, Robins are in huge groups everywhere around us. Heading home to their stomping grounds to get those worms!

These are wonderful photos, Donna. It’s always fun to watch birds gobble down berries. It makes me wish that we had planted many more berry-bearing shrubs years ago. We are trying to make up for that oversight now, but it takes a while for them to bear fruit.

Good for you, Donna. I can watch our feeders from my desk also, but the screened windows make photography difficult.
What fun for you too! I have screen windows also but am lucky to have the door to the deck 6-7 ft from my desk with my camera in between on a table to grab. Binoculars are laying on my desk. It’s safe to say I don’t get 100% desk work done at my desk on any one day. 😂
