Thank you, Sandy! That Blue Jay was a big win-win for me, such a gorgeous bird and very shy, I fell in love with that shot. Our Robins are primarily in large migration flocks right now, it is pretty neat to see them in a field, always 5-10′ apart from each other, lol. They are our ‘Spring’ bird, when we see them suddenly like this again, Spring is considered here! 🙂
These are beautiful, Donna! I love how the background setting in each picture has colors that compliment the bird’s. Nice selections and I adore the killdeer! 🙂
Thank you, Barbara! We see a single Killdeer on occasion during the winter, but now with Spring migration kicking in, Killdeer are beginning to appear everywhere, I just saw five at one time in a farm field. So glad they are back; not only photogenic, they are so much fun to watch too! 🙂
I’m almost at the point now where I can just look at the picture and name your American birds… which is great of course! (You can learn so such a lot from following blogs!) 😊👍👍
I enjoyed this series of the middle-sized birds, Donna. Each one of these portraits are works of art, so very pleasing to look at. I especially like the stunning red cardinal in the brown tall grass.
Beautiful photos Donna 🙂
Thank you, Kaylin! 🙂
Lovely shots, Donna. I esp. like the tail view of the blue jay. Beautiful!
Thank you, Eliza! That is one gorgeous tail!!
A beautiful showcase of your birds Donna. love the Blue Jay 🙂
Thank you, Ashley! I almost put a note on the photo it was for you. 🙂
Great selection again. The blue jay was my favourite today.
Thank you, Tom! The Blue Jay looks to be the favorite in this post. 🙂 It is a beauty!!
…but not medium in beauty! 😉😊

Thank you, Jet! Even the ‘commons’ can compose nicely! (if they give us a chance, hehe)
Beautiful birds, Donna! I love the ending…Cardinals!!! Hope your weekend is going well.
Thank you, Deborah! Even Cardinals love the marshes. 🙂 I had a great weekend, I hope you did too!
Just the right kind of birds. Medium and not necessarily rare!
Beautifully photographed.
Thank you, Wally! Seems all those medium birds are commons, lol. They can still compose pretty when we remember to give them a chance. 🙂
Love all of these! I especially love the bluejay and the robin because of the colours in the photos.
Thank you; Sharon!
Oh, I like these birds and you have them in nice poses. The house finches have arrived and waiting to hear/see my first Robin!
Thank you, Jane! I hope your Robin comes bob bob bobbin’ along real soon. 🙂
