More Cedar Waxwings
While my last post of Cedar Waxwings went live yesterday morning, I was out photographing three of them again in my backyard. I cannot hold these shots for a post down the line, so here we go!

Exquisite series Donna! I can never get enough of the cedar waxwings, so thanks for posting these, too. I don’t know east coast trees but this looks like it might be a cedar?
Thank you, Jet! I was hoping š Eliza would tell us the tree ID, and yes, she said it was a cedar. How cool is that bonus?! š¤šš¤
They are cute and in a way unique.
Thank you, I think that too! They are truly unique and mesmerizing š
By the fullness of those Juniper Berries on your bush you’ll be having them stop by for a bit longer. These are fabulous images, Donna!!
I was thinking the same thing, what a delight that would be. Thank you, Deborah!
Where did my comment go?
It came through approved! I am having the same issue of leaving comments on others and they disappear, and never show up. With yours, I don’t seem to have the problem. The WP woes continue…..
Realy wonderful captures Donna, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Rudi, so glad you enjoyed them!
Fantastic photos, Donna! I love their snazzy “shades.”
Thank you, Barbara, they are snazzy! š

Thank you, Indira! It was exciting!
Cedar waxwings eating cedar berries, ha! š Great shots, Donna.
First, thank you for the tree ID! I was hoping you’d tell me what kind, I forgot to look them up. š And secondly, how really cool is that, I love it! What a bonus!! Thank you, Eliza!
My pleasure! š
Such lovely birds, beautifully photographed!
Thank you, Belinda! My eye will be on that tree every morning from now on. š

Thank you, Reed!
Fabulous set, Donna! That orangey background and eating the berries make a great package.
Thank you, Ellen! I cannot believe all the waxwings around me right now, I can’t stop photographing them. (I was out today twice! lol)
I would, too, if they were right here! Local photographers have spotted them here and there over the last couple weeks but I’ve yet to see one.
Lovely shot of one of the sharpest looking birds out there – well done.
Thank you, Brian! I am now having large flocks 100+ every day, I was out 3 hrs today photographing them…. A flock was on our rooftop! š
Lovely!
Thank you!
