they have been long gone from here but I like seeing what they are doing once they fly south. Do they stay where you are, or are they passing through? Like the captures of the water drops frozen in motion, the jump in the air as part of the dive and the spread of the tail feathers. Very nice!
Thank you Jane! The Chesapeake Bay area will have Buffleheads from now until February/March. They will move around, following open waters and food source.
