Nature & Wildlife's Beauty and Behavior Through My Lens
All are nice Donna! But my favorite is the Pelican!
Hard to choose but since you ask, I go with the teal 😊
This is why I had to create a series for flight shots, I’ve go so many I love and it’s hard to choose a single for a post. I’ve been practicing a lot lately…. 😉
If I must make a choice, I choose the Ducks because the feeling of speed against the background.
I like your thought, Hans, thanks for your choice!
Wonderful shots, Donna. 🙂 👍
Thank you, HJ! 😊
Of course, the egret gets a ’10’ for its perfect form, but the young pelican gets honorable mention for its gangly youth. 😉
My fav is the egret. The photo is very harmonious. It goes from left to right (our natural reading pattern). The composition is very nice here. Lots of negative space on the right so gives room for the bird to “fly into.”
It’s awesome when a flight shot is compositioned as you mention. Case in point with the kingfisher who was lucky to even be in the frame, speeding past me so fast, lol.
Tough choice but I think I will go with the pelican. 😊
The Egret. It looks like a stylish airplane.
I like both, Donna! Best wishes for your new series!
Thank you, Indira! There were five bird photos. Are they not all showing up on my post?
No, Donna…only two!
I just changed to a slide show. I use ‘classic’ block still. Does it work now for you to see five birds?
Thanks Indira!! High Five made me laugh, good one! 😅
I love the great egret. There’s the right amount of space above and to the right of it for the eye to continue following its flight trajectory. The sky color is very pleasing, too.
That one seems to be the favorite so far. 😊
The Blue-winged Teal almost out does the one of the Black skimmers.
I mean they are all great Donna, you are making this hard on us!
For me the egret and the pelican 🙂
The Blue-Winged Teal.
No favorites here, Donna, I like them all! And I’d take an afternoon of watching any one of them.
Thanks Ellen! I needed to do a series like this because I have too many favorites lately. 🙂
😁 what a problem to have!
The pelican is very special to me.
His wing patterns and stretch do make for a nice shot. 😃
My favourite is a photo with flying blue-winged teal ducks. The second one is a brown pelican.
Thank you! 😃
