Nature & Wildlife's Beauty and Behavior Through My Lens
Wonderful flight shots, Donna! Excellent focus and details on the birds!
Thank you, Indira! I keep practicing ‘panning’ as much as I can, I love when I get the shot! 🙂
An amazing series, Donna. Thanks for sharing them all. 😊
Thank you, Mike! 😊
I was in such awe at the warblers you saw here that my hand went to my heart. Folks from around the world fly in from hundreds of miles away to visit this section of the globe in May. Your photos are wonderful, Donna, and very impressive. Thanks for these five on the wing.
Thank you much, Jet! This was my best bird outing ever to see so many warblers, and get lucky enough to capture a four of them. One of those Cloud 9 kind of days. 😊
Fine photos, Donna! Enjoy the next leg of your trip!
Thank you, Belinda! Will do!!
Super, Donna! Am in a silly mood today so this old New Jersey rhyme came to mind:
The spring has sprung
The grass has riz
I wonder where the birdies is…
The birds are on the wing!
But that’s absurd…
The wings are on the birds!
Thank you, Carol! Oh, I truly smiled at your rhyme, I love it! It is getting added to my bird files!! 😊

Loely little showcase Donna. I especially love the way you caught the light in the Redstart, looks a very handsome bird.
Thank you, Ashley! The Redstart is my favorite with these. 🙂
Beautiful birds, Donna. Great captures! Have a safe trip going West. 🙂
Thank you, HJ! Will do!! 🙂
Have to say my favorite is the Sandhill Crane. But then I seem to have so many favorites!!! Can’t wait to see where your next adventures take you. Happy Trails! 🤗
Thank you, Gunta! The Sandhill Crane was a wonderful thrill for me that day!! Fingers crossed our trails are happy and smooth! 🤗
Love the capture of the Yellow Warbler flying straight down! So many birds, so little time. 😉 Looking forward to seeing what you find out west.
Thank you, Barbara! I indeed had a super successful visit to this Great Marsh Trail. Things are looking up already as we continue moving along!
Fun series, Donna! Glad your RV work went well and you are on your way. Safe travels and I look forward to seeing where you go next.
Thank you, Ellen! Yes, we are hoping for good weather and great stays!
Wonderful captures! I have tried taking flights photos but they are really challenging!
Thank you! Keep trying! I’ve been really working hard at flight shots for 7-8 years, learning to focus and pan at the same time isn’t easy! I do throw a lot of shots away. 🙂
The Warblers are gorgeous, and the in-flight Sandhill Crane is wonderful. You had a great birdy day at that marsh.
Thank you so much, Deborah! It was indeed another marsh walk I will not forget. 😊
😀 I can understand why not!
Nothing like Canada geese flying in formation…and honking.😁
😁 When I take several photos of geese flying, I always look for the shot with one or more honking, I love that added bonus!!
