Series: Take a Moment and Enjoy a Sunset
Two evenings ago, a severe thunderstorm pounded Easton, 20 miles north of us.
We were fortunate that it was missing us.
We were also fortunate at the same time to be blessed with this dramatic sunset from that storm’s southern edge.

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” ― Rabindranath Tagore
Amazing!
It was! 🙂
A never tiring phenomenon!
I very much agree!
Gorgeous! That sunset Wed night was one of the most incredible ones I have ever seen! I love seeing how it looked from your vantage point!
Thank you, Susan! I wondered if you were seeing anything like mine, the Easton storm cell went right between us!
One beautiful sunset and verse as well! After a storm have often been my favourite skies.
Thank you, Jane! It’s all about the clouds! 🙂

Beauty after the storm. 🙂
When the timing is perfect, it can be a glorious sight to behold. 🙂
Yes indeed.
Simply beautiful! Looking on the bright side… storms and smoke from wildfires make for great sunsets. 😉
Thank you, Gunta! I remember seeing a dramatic sunset involving wildfire smoke back in 2016 while we were camping in Cody, Wyoming. It was really gorgeous but scary too.
Wow
Thank you, Susanne!
