Series: Take A Moment and Enjoy A Sunset
We were rewarded with another spectacular sunset this evening…..
Sunset over Cambridge Creek
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands…”
. – Psalm 19:1 (NIV)
So magnificent, Donna. 😍
Thank you, Sylvia! 😊

Gorgeous as always! I hope that hurricane Dorian doesn’t reach your area. Thanks, Donna. 🙂
Thank you, HJ! A few hours ago we went into a “Watch” for mostly rain, flooding, winds 30-40 mph, gusts to 60, for late Thursday and into Friday. I think we will be okay as long as Dorian keeps heading northeast. 🙏
Oh my! Donna, that is a gorgeous sunset and, of course, an excellent capture of it😊
Thank you, Diane!
Donna, I love your Bible quote and the photo! ❤️
Thank you, John 🙂
I’d like to have that view.
So much to see on this little downtown, historical creek. 🙂
I’ll bet. Just like NC, Maryland is one of the original 13. Been a lot of action up there, too. Have you got old Sea Captain houses, there, like we have on our coast?
No old sea Captain houses, the creek used to be one of the settlers first Colonial seaports, and is still today serving the local watermen & seafood companies. Located at the mouth of the creek is the J. M. Clayton Co, founded in 1890, it is the oldest working crab processing plant in the world. My gosh, when we ride by that place on our boat, I breath in REAL DEEP the smell of steaming crabs. OMGosh, my mouth starts watering, lol.
Oh, I am with you there. Steamed crabs…YUM…🦀
a very beautiful photo…congratulations!
Thank you!
Beautiful sunset Donna! Always enjoy seeing your sunrises & Sunsets!
Thank you, Reed, glad you enjoy them!
Your perch there is pretty spectacular. I have a vague sense of where you’re at or how likely Dorian is to bring you foul weather, but that sunset was sure spectacular. Hope it didn’t bring any nasty weather.
Thank you, Gunta! We fared well with Dorian. The storm surge up the lower Chesapeake Bay got cancelled yesterday afternoon thankfully, so it was only brief heavy rains yesterday & 20-30 mph winds, and extreme high tides yesterday and today. It was no more than like a Nor’easter for us. Thank goodness!!!! Oh, the tragedy others are enduring right now, it’s heartbreaking. 😦
A beautiful close to a day and the scripture is matched perfectly!
Thank you, Jane!

Awesome!
