Nature & Wildlife's Beauty and Behavior Through My Lens
A beautiful bird Donna, looks so good in the light you have captured it in 🙂
Thank you, Ashley!
Fantastic shot, Donna. Such a pretty bird and you caught him in a great setting. 😉
Thank you, Jane!
Great shot Donna!
Thank you, Brian!
Lovely bokeh here, Donna!
Thank you, Indira, it was an added bonus! 🙂
How pretty! And such a unique moment 🙂
Thank you, Takami!
Stunning looking, I imagine in real life it is brilliant.
Thank you, Jane, it was!
Very Nice Donna! Enjoyed seeing it!
Thank you, Reed!
Love everything about this image…looks like the background was made to showcase him. In fact, want to buy a print. How do I do that?
Thank you, Carol! I was happy with the added background with the little color pops. I’ll contact you by email!
It’s always fun to see a red-belied woodpecker. The only time I have seen one in our yard is when one visited our oldest bluebird house and pecked away – presumably looking for bugs. I always wonder why they aren’t called ‘red-headed’ but of course that name is already taken! 🙂
Thank you, Susan! Goodness, I imagine a woodpecker could quickly destroy a bluebird house. At least he cleaned it up! 🙂
Thank you, Tanya!
Great shot! Yes, the bokeh is really nice!
Thank you, I loved that added surprise of the bokeh when I downloaded! 🙂
You should never pass the opportunity to photograph a beautiful bird… You’ll never know what you’re going to get! Great shot! 🙂
Thank you, HJ! So very VERY true!! 🙂
Awesome. It looks like television static.
Thank you, Vic!
It’s not often you see them out of the tree they are banging on.
Marvelous! Amazing what you find when you’re least expecting it! 😀
Thank you, Gunta! I love these kinds of moments!! 😊
Love seeing birds perching somewhere different than expected.
Thank you, and me too, Wally! 🙂
What a beauty! I love that over the shoulder look back at you. Lovely timing for you both!
Thank you, Deborah, I love the shot’s uniqueness too!
That is a pretty shot Donna! I like the fence and bright background since we usually see them on a tree.
Thank you, Denise! I liked the unusual shot as well, and the little background color pop was a cool bonus. 🙂
I just wanted to check on you, Donna. Is everything alright? I miss your daily blogs. Stay safe and healthy! 💗
Hi Tanja, yes all is well! Been SUPER busy….. Finally getting back online with a post this morning and play catch up. 🙂 Thank you for your concern ❤, much appreciated, stay safe and well too!
I’m glad to know everything is well. In times like these I wanted to check in and making sure everything is okay. 😉
Nice photo. Looks like Nattal’s woodpecker (male) with that red head.
Thank you, I see the similarities!
