Backyard Traffic #2 – Wild Turkey
While we eat our meals, we are entertained with nature through our big picture window.
Usually it’s watching the birds and feeders, or the weather’s force, or seeing/discussing outside chore work to be done ugh, lol.
If we’re lucky, we may see someone non-nonchalantly pass on through.Β This happened during dinner a few days ago.

Did you notice?Β Even two trees were surprised! π
(hint – first and last photo)

No streaming for me⦠a great show.
π
Wonderful
Thank you, Sheree!
Love the tree additions… thanks for mentioning them!
Thanks, Eliza! I didn’t plan the tree faces being in the photos, wasn’t time for that π the one just made the full photo corner!
Donna, you have the best yard ever! Do you ever get through a meal without picking up your camera? π
I love my yard and surroundings! Yes, tonight I didn’t jump for the squirrels! π
π Ah, squirrels! I can understand that . They’ll be back anyway. π

Amazing capture!..and the surprised tree haha..added a sense of humour..loved itπππ»
Thank you, Kriti! I didn’t plan the faces, wasn’t time, I had to laugh when I downloaded the shots! π
They look lovely and safe, but I can’t help it… they look delicious! π³
Thank you! Wild turkey is hunted in our county, but I think the ones around me are safe! But I do love a good turkey dinner too! π
The best kind of dinner βviewingβ π
We’re always watching, today it was squirrels chasing each other. π
Looks like the tree is saying βooooo.β We had a flock that lived on our property in Oregon and entertained us royally. There is nothing like the Toms doing their strut! When we were just in Costa Rica, Donna, Crested Guans (known at the Costa Rica turkey) greeted us on our doorstep each morning.
My husband’s tree faces are funny, and I always forget about them until I suddenly see one above me when I’m looking for a bird lol. There’s a decent flock roaming our 5-6 mile peninsula and when they split up, a few will meander around us, they are quite entertaining! I just jumped to see the Crested Guans, that would be quite entertaining to find them each morning on your doorstep!!
Very entertaining!
I liked the trees keeping an eye on things.
The grandboys buy them for my husband. I tend to forget about them until I suddenly see one in my line of view of a bird or squirrel looking up, lol.
A turkey parade! I would have missed the tree’s smiling face had you not pointed it out!
I happen to luck out with the tree faces, there wasn’t time in even thinking about positioning them in the shots. The grandboys buy the faces for my husband, I keep forgetting where they are until one suddenly pops in my view of a bird LOL.
I think they are cute. And different faces too if you study them. π Those grandboys are very thoughtful.
The things those trees must see…
They definitely keep an eye on me! π
The true joy of living in the woods. We usually get a lot of Turkeys migrating to our lot about now as hunting season opens up around us in about a week…they know their sanctuary safe spaces ha. Not sure if it is a good thing to have too many of the. Coming through your yard, you might run out of trees hehehe.
My grandson was visiting yesterday, and he heard the gobble, one was in the marsh. We should soon start seeing the Toms come strutting through with his gals!
Happy Easter! U(β’γ β’)U
Thank you, Cindy! I hope yours was wonderful too!
The trees are so funny!!
Those trees are always keeping an eye on me, hehe
