Series: Take a Moment and Enjoy a Sunset

After yesterday’s heavy clouds and surprise sunset, today’s partly cloudy conditions looked promising for another display of glory.

I hopped into my car and cruised over to Blackwater NWR for a different perspective.

I share with you tonight’s sunset in the phasing of three photos.

    • I really do enjoy the beauty as it closes down the day, no matter whether it’s simple or blazing. And I am happy to share with you, Tanja. You really said it well with your last sentence. ❀

  1. Our sunset was snuffed by clouds last night, but getting the rain more than made up for it! Delicious, luscious rain after the long, dry summer. And the warmer temperatures were welcome, too! πŸ˜‰ Thanks for sharing this to make up for the one I missed!

      • My eyes, my nose and my skin are luxuriating in the moisture. It’s been a pretty long, hot, dry summer. I’m ready for the next season (until it, too, becomes tiresome!) πŸ˜‰

  2. Sunset are magical! And every single one is different – like a new magnificent painting πŸ™‚ Loved your sunset shots.
