Series: Take A Moment and Enjoy A Sunset
When a bright sun is setting and clouds are involved, we are blessed with a chance to watch a masterpiece unfold before our eyes.
This is one sunset, shot several minutes apart, creating one of those masterpieces.

A Brown Pelican flies over Chokoloskee Bay into the sunset
“The sun ignites the clouds below it as if they, and the water, itself, were on fire.”

Thank you, Sylvia! 😊
Like the sunset with the texture of the clouds, the waves and sand. So pretty.
Thank you, Jane!
There’s nothing prettier than a beautiful sunset. Thanks for sharing.
They are so nice…..you’re welcome Susan!
These are absolutely gorgeous. ❤️
Well penned ✍️
Thank you!
I can feel the warmth on my face just looking at those. Awesome. I prefer a sunset to a sunrise. I’m just not a morning person.
Thank you, Vic! Sending warmth up your way! 🙂
☀️🌞🌝😎💕
Stunning!
Thank you, Sheree!
Glorious moments of the day!! Lovely pictures, Donna!
Thank you, Indira!!
In spite of not having a pelican in it, I enjoyed the middle picture the best. The ripples were gorgeous.
The pelican missed his cue on entering the scene but I forgave him. 😉
Ooh. Exquisite.
Thank you, Lisa!
Beautiful photos! I especially love the gentle dark waves in the foreground of the second shot. The best part of a sunset is standing there as it sets and knowing you are at peace with all those around. Ephesians 4:26 “Let not the sun go down upon your anger.” Trying to live by that as best as I can (and holding hands as we watch the sunset!) has kept me married for 22 years! William
Thank you, William, wonderfully said!
Me too, we’re 40 years married and still going strong! 🙂
Oh, wish I was there! ❤
I’d enjoy your company, Eliza, come on down! 🙂
🙂 ❤
I always love these sunset shots!
I hope you’re feeling some warmth from them too! 😊
Given all the cold and snow lately every ‘ray’ goes a long way 😊
love the last shot!
Thank you, Wayne!
