Nice Warblers Donna! Enjoyed seeing them!
Thank you, Reed!
I have a couple of Pine Warblers for the past 2 or 3 weeks in my backyard, also one yellow-rumped warbler last week. Lovely pictures, Donna. π
Glad some are hanging with you this winter, too, HJ! π
How beautiful they are! I’ve only seen the Yellow-rump. It would be thrilling to see the other two.
Thank you, Deborah! I’ll give the other two a talk to come by your way for some photo shoots, or at least send some cousins! π
Wouldn’t that be wonderful! π₯°π
Beautiful photos of these delightful little birds, Donna.
Thank you, Imorgana!
Itβll be fun to see them again. Thanks for keeping an eye on them. π
You’re quite welcome, Irene! π
Awesome pictures Donna. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Audrey!
Great shots, and a wonderful reminder of what we get to see in a few months. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Susan, and you’re welcome!
Yay! Thanks Donna, it’s so nice to see these little summer friends!
They’re happy little birds down here right now, but I know they’ll be eager to get home real soon to spend time with you!
π
I love warblers and this is a nice time of year to see photos of them from where you are. Too cold here.
Thank you, Jane, glad to share these with you. They are enjoying their winter siesta but will soon be back to delight you!
I love the second picture π
Nice birds that make beautiful nests.
Thank you, Rudi!
Three little warblers out on foraging…π
Excellent shots, Donna!!
Thank you, Indira, that they were!! π

Thank you very much, and keep well too!
What kind of camera do you use? I have many birds on my deck but can’t capture them well!
For bird close-ups, I use a Nikon D750 with a 70-200mm telephoto lens attached to a 1.7x teleconverter. No matter your camera, it’s more about taking lots and lots of photos to practice practice practice. It really is true, practice makes perfect! In addition, learning to hold your camera super-still and if they’re moving, you move exactly with them to stay focused. I’ve been practicing for about 11 years. π Don’t give up, keep trying!
Oh, how pretty they are! I will have to look out for their return this spring. π
Thank you, Barbara! π
Nice! I love how you captured that Yellow-throat on the hanging leaves.
Thanks Ellen! You’ll love this…..I was laying back in my lounge chair on our RV site when a couple of the Yellow-throats flew in the palms above me. π Now that is lazy shooting! hehe
Yes, I do! Doesnβt get any better than the birds coming to you, as long as you have the camera in hand!
Lovely photos!
Thank you!
I like them all but the second photo is a real beauty, Donna!
Thank you, Belinda!
I love the spots of bright yellow!
Happy sunshine spots!
